Defence Industry Link focuses on increasing the engagement between prospective job seekers and the defence industry.

It was founded due to the steep cost from competitor ‘job advertisement’ sites, making an additional burden on Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s) needing to find talent for Defence Industry specific roles. It is our aim to provide a like-for-like service but at a much more competitive rate.

The Australian Defence Force is looking to increase its overall size by 30% in the next decade. This will, in turn, only mean a much-needed increase to the Defence Industry – “The Workforce behind the Defence Force”.

With Australia already at a ‘Talent Shortage’ and the Defence Industry relying on niche skill sets, usually those gained within the Defence Force, we are trying to lessen the burden on finding the right fit for the right role. It shouldn’t be costing Small and Medium Enterprises thousands of dollars to find the right employee, and the right employee shouldn’t need to sift through hundreds of irrelevant jobs to find the right role.
